Birchip Aged CareBirchip has a 10 bed fully accreditied high care residential facility called Wirrim Lodge. Wirrim Lodge is co located with the Birchip Hospital with only a short covered walkway separating the two. Wirrim Lodge has four twin share rooms and two single room with a open plan dining and lounge area providing a cosy home like enviroment.

Wirrim Lodge is staffed with Registered Nurses 24 hours seven days a week, this enables the residents to be cared for within Wirrim Lodge even when residents are acutely unwell.
Medical support is provided to the residents by our local gp, although the gp visits regularly as the gp is located on site is able to visit on demand if required.
Allied health services are provided through a number of services providers that regularly visit the Birchip community. Due to the wireless network that covers the entire Birchip Campus, residents at Birchip are also able to access health professionals through video conferencing.
