Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Aged Care

A progressive, innovative individual with demonstrated leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to problem solve is sought to work in the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Kara Court Nursing Home, St Arnaud.
East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) St Arnaud campus offers 22 acute care beds and 30 high care nursing home beds. A hallmark of EWHS is the dedication of staff to their communities and the enthusiastic support offered to each and every staff member.
To apply for this role a demonstrated understanding of the quality management systems involved in the accreditation process in the Aged Care setting is required along with a strong interest in quality improvement.
Ideally the successful applicant will have had prior experience in Aged Care Management and/or be willing to undertake appropriate education to meet the requirements of the position, with education in gerontology also desirable. An understanding of the Residential ACFI and ACSA would be an advantage.
