Donald Aged Care

Donald has a 12 bed fully accreditied high care residential facility called Riverview Nursing Home. Riverview Nursing Home is co located with the Donald Hospital . Riverview Nursing Home has a mix of single and twin share rooms with a open plan lounge area giving peaceful view of the river and wildlife.

Riverview Nursing Home is staffed with Registered Nurses 24 hours seven days a week, this enables the residents to be cared for within Riverview Nursing Home even when residents are acutely unwell.

Medical support is provided to the residents by our local gp, although the gp visits regularly as the gp is located on site is able to visit on demand if required.

Allied health services are provided through a number of services providers that regularly visit the Donald commmunity. Due to the wireless network that covers the entire Donald Campus, residents at Donald are also able to access health professionals through video conferencing.
